Clinic Description and History
Dr. Oldfield is a Washington native and medical director of West Seattle Naturopathic Clinic. She completed her undergraduate degree at University of Washington and attended medical school at Bastyr University, graduating in 2000. After graduation from Bastyr, Dr. Oldfield was a resident and then an associate at Peninsula Naturopathic Clinic in Gig Harbor, WA, her hometown. Since 2002, she has owned West Seattle Natural Medicine Clinic with her husband Greg. She is a member of the American Association
of Naturopathic Physicians and Washington Association of Naturopathic Physicians She served on the board of the WANP for two years.
As a naturopathic physician she feels that that she can truly help patients to improve their health by addressing underlying conditions that are stopping them from achieving their full health potential. She believes in designing an individualized treatment plan that addresses immediate concerns and looks at long-term health goals. Dr. Oldfield specializes in women’s health, menopause including bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, thyroid conditions, digestive disorders and allergies. She utilizes various forms
of physical medicine with her patients if indicated. She is a member of Physicians for Social Responsibility and is a PCC Cooks instructor, teaching classes on subjects such as balancing hormones and managing thyroid conditions.
West Seattle Natural Medicine has 4 NDs and the clinic treats a variety of conditions from pediatrics to all aspects of women's and men's health. We also treat allergies using the provocation / neutralization technique and work collaboratively with our nutritionist
Michelle Babb, to teach lifestyle modification and weight loss with First Line Therapy.
